UbiniOS for Fashion & Tailoring
Never lose a measurement, miss a due date or overpay for a stitch
Measure customers on a phone, track every order garment by garment through your own workshop stages, protect the customer’s fabric, and pay tailors exactly for approved work. Deposits and balances reach the books on their own.

- Lost or outdated measurement cards
- Garments cut from the wrong measurements
- Orders that miss the customer’s event date
- No clear view of which garment is with which tailor
- Garments released before the balance is paid
- Arguments over how many yards the customer brought
- Tailors paid for work that was sent back
- Weekly piece-rate pay worked out by hand
A growing fashion house needs more than a measurement book and a good memory. It needs every customer, garment and naira tracked in one place.
How it connects
- 01Measurement
- 02Order & deposit
- 03Invoice in the books
- 04Workshop stages
- 05Quality check
- 06Ready & collection
- 07Piece-rate pay
- 08Payroll
The order keeps the exact measurements each garment was cut from. Approved work feeds each tailor’s weekly pay, and a garment cannot leave the shop with money owed unless a manager records why.

- 36 measurement points in tape order, each with a hint
- Several wearers under one paying customer
- Every re-measure saved as a new version, nothing overwritten
Phone-first measuring

- Step-by-step flow that starts from the last measurements
- Quarter-inch or half-centimetre steps
- Printable card that highlights changes since the last visit
- Copy the card as text to paste into WhatsApp
Orders & garment tracking
One order per visit, tracked garment by garment.
- Due date, event date and Normal or Rush priority
- Each garment with its own wearer, fabric and price
- Order status worked out from the garments, never typed
- Filters for due within 10 days, by customer and by tailor
Workshop stages & quality check
Your workshop’s own process, with every hand-off recorded.
- Define your own stages, or start from six ready-made sets
- Assign each garment stage to a named tailor
- Work board: assigned, in progress, submitted, approved or rework
- Rework records whose fault it was
Deposits, balances & collection
Never release a garment without knowing what is owed.
- Deposits, balances and refunds by cash, transfer or card
- Payments are permanent and cannot be edited
- Total, paid and balance due on every order
- Each order linked to its invoice in the books
Customer fabric custody
Settle yardage arguments and protect the customer’s cloth.
- Declared length against length measured with the tape
- Photos of the fabric on receipt
- In store, in factory, consumed, returned or lost
- Shop fabric kept separately, with branch stock and reorder alerts
Ready-to-wear production
Make stock garments in batches and cost them properly.
- Batches blocked if there is not enough fabric on hand
- Completing a batch moves fabric out and finished garments in
- Cost per garment calculated on completion
- Finished, priced items appear at the till automatically
Piece-rate pay into payroll
Pay tailors exactly for approved work, every week.
- Rate card per garment type, and per stage if you choose
- Rate locked when the work is assigned
- Only approved work counts; rework is never paid twice
- Close the week and send it to payroll in one step
Controls built in
The controls that protect your money
Balance-checked release
A garment with money owed cannot be handed over. A manager can override only by typing a reason, and the release and balance are recorded.
Only approvers approve
Only staff with approval rights can approve or send back work, and only active employees can be given work.
Overdue work surfaces itself
Orders past their due date raise a warning, then a critical alert after seven days. Ready garments left uncollected for 14 days are flagged.
Answers, not phone calls
- Which orders are due in the next 10 days?
- Where is each garment right now, and with whom?
- Which ready garments have not been collected?
- Whose work is sent back most?
- What do I owe each tailor this week?
- Which customers still owe money?
The morning brief email arrives by 07:15, so you start the day knowing where the problems are.
